Mommyhood = no time for blog

My life has been a whirlwind of crazy since I last posted. About a month after I posted we discovered we were expecting our second precious little blessing. We now know it's another little girl and are thrilled beyond belief for Ella to have a baby sister, which should be in about 3-4 weeks timing. In this time we have had a trip to California, in which Ella and I drove following my parents. Attend part of Pepperdine lectureships, which were so uplifting for me. Jeff flew out to meet us for the last 4 days of the trip. We drove into San Diego and took Ella to Sea World to see "shampoo" aka shamu. What a great little get away, Thanks so much to my dad for helping us get there.

Next our little Ella turned 3 on June 20th. We had a little party for her at the Little Gym. Our little gymnast to be! That evening we had a few close friends over and the grandparents for some awesome BBQ thank you to my wonderful father in law. We are so lucky to have such great family and friends. June also was the time of change for our little family, Jeff took a new job. He now drives a lot further every day and is back to working monday thru friday, but he is home by about 5:30 everyday instead of 7:30.

July was also an extremely busy month for us. We had a great 4th of July weekend. Celebrated with friends and also just our little family. Then came VBS, wow this year was so much fun. Things for VBS got started extremely late this year but turned out amazing. God blessed our church with an awesome youth group from Texas coming to help with. Also the Helm Family was able to come back to Utah this year for VBS, how we have all missed them so much. Shane and his great improv acting made it a great year. That week and the following week, we tried to spend as much time as we were able to with Ashley and the girls. It was very sad to see them have to go back to Tennessee. July also was Jeff's work party with his new company. It was so nice to get to meet some of the people Jeff is now working with. We also were able to have a little time to ourselves for the movie, Grandpa came and picked Ella up so we were able to attend. The end of July Ella started swimming lessons which has been so good for her. She has gained a ton of confidence in herself as well as in the water.

August started off with a quick family trip down to Sand Hollow Reservoir. Jeff needed to go to finish is rescue class for diving. He is getting very close to getting his Dive Master and from that he would like to also get to the instructor level. This was a good little get away for us, since the baby is due to arrive in a little less then a months time. The lake water was perfect temperature, however outside the water was quite hot. We plan to try and make a few more trips down there now we know more about it.

Ella is about to start preschool one week from tomorrow. This mommy is not so sure she is ready for her baby to be that grown up. But also very excited for Ella to start this new adventure in her life and see how she learns and grows from it.

I think that is a basic summary of our crazy life. Pictures to be posted later.
